Hey! What's your favorite movie?
This is one of the first questions I ask people when I meet them for the first time. Do they immediately come up with good answers? No. Do I judge them for that? Of course!
It's entertaining to unveil one's guilty pleasures and then discuss actual good answers. The same goes for fashion picks or — yes, very deep — life choices. I ask these things because I'm a firm believer that everything we do has a meaning and a hidden background story. Isn't it fun?

I'm Ami and a German-Japanese living in Belgium. Besides my job as a communicator, I'm pursuing a modeling career. By now, I've modeled for more than a decade. My material has been published in magazines and I was part of fashion shows and international campaigns.

In August 2022, I had an accident that left me temporarily handicapped. Due to this cruel setback, I'm not able to fully live up to my investigative and curious nature. The only thing I can do is sit down and write.​

That's why I've started Reanimate. Not only is the title an acronym of my name, but it also symbolizes my way back to a normal life in which writing, modeling and learning play a key role. So here we go and welcome to this part of my journey!
